Bill Creim

Bill Creim is a partner in the law firm of Creim, Macias, Koenig & Frey LLP. Mr. Creim and his firm work with credit managers throughout the country on the great variety of legal issues involving credit including collections, business, litigation, bankruptcy, and antitrust.

A frequent speaker to several credit industry groups, he has presented over 350 seminars emphasizing practical legal and business issues to trade groups and individual companies, and has had several articles published on UCC law, collections, preferences, and bankruptcy.

Mr. Creim received his undergraduate degree summa cum laude with highest departmental honors from U.C.L.A. where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa membership, and his legal degree from the University of Southern California where he served on the editorial board of the Law Review and received Order of the Coif honors. He was named one of the “50 Most Influential People in Credit” by Credit Today.

Boyd Evert
Boyd Evert

Boyd Evert has over fifteen years of experience working with large retail clients such as Target, Walmart, and Home Depot. He began his career in merchandise auditing in 1995 with Howard Schultz and Associates auditing on behalf of Target Stores where he recovered over ten millions dollars due to error in pricing, allowances, discounts, and rebates. In the late 1990s Boyd expanded the freight audit to include on-time shipping, similar to Walmart's Supplier Reliability Program. He also led the initiative to automate other freight audits including routing violations, failure to consolidate, and backorder freight. Boyd has conducted merchandise audits on behalf of Walmart with two other audit firms, Apex Analytix and Connolly. In 2010, he left accounts payable auditing and founded Harvest Revenue Group, a firm that conducts merchandise audits on behalf of suppliers. Boyd is a popular speaker presenting publicly to supplier groups. He has presented to several Fortune 100 companies on best practices when negotiating with buyers and auditors.

Jay Indyke

Jay Indyke has represented official creditors' committees and debtors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in over 40 states and has also represented unofficial creditors' committees in out-of-court workouts and composition agreements in many industries. He has represented purchasers of significant assets and other clients in a wide variety of bankruptcy-related litigation. Jay is recognized by The Deal's Bankruptcy Insider as one of the top unsecured creditor lawyers in the United States for the past seven years, as well as being declared one of the top three bankruptcy M & A attorneys in 2010.

Representative unsecured creditors' committee representations include: Blockbuster, Pizzeria Uno, Eddie Bauer, G.I. Joe's, Inc., Signature Styles, Ritz Camera Centers, Mervyn's, The Sharper Image, Trade Secret, Sierra Snowboards, Orchard Brands, Ultimate Electronics and Urban Brands. He represented the official committee of unsecured creditors of Hancock Fabrics, the first retailer since the implementation of the 2005 bankruptcy amendments to emerge successfully as an unimpaired reorganized entity, negotiating a plan providing for a 104.93% cash distribution to unsecured creditors.

Jay is a frequent speaker to creditor groups, corporate credit departments and many conventions and conferences regarding creditors' rights and bankruptcy matters. Admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First and Second Circuits, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the Eastern District of Wisconsin and New York State.

He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Michael O'Hara
Michael O'Hara

Managing Member and Chief Executive Officer Michael O'Hara is the founder and a managing member of Consensus. Since forming Consensus in February 2006, Mr. O'Hara has advised a wide range of companies ranging from early stage consumer products companies to leading national and international retailers in merger, acquisition and financing transactions. Mr. O'Hara also regularly advises lenders, creditors and investors in complex transactions, and has been engaged in over 30 retail and consumer restructuring in his career.

Prior to forming Consensus, he served as a Managing Director of Financo, Inc., where he provided services to such clients as Gadzooks, Inc., The Container Store, Whitehall Jewelers, Lifetime Brands, Wilsons The Leather Experts, Crescent Jewelers and Tourneau. In May 2002, he was appointed the President of the bankruptcy estates of Casual Male Corp. and its 16 direct and indirect subsidiaries, effectively serving as their chief restructuring officer. Prior to this, Mr. O'Hara was an executive with retailers Brookstone and J. Baker, Inc. and a corporate attorney at Ropes & Gray in Boston.

Mr. O'Hara is a graduate of the Duke University School of Law - where he was an editor of the journal Law and Contemporary Problems - and Boston College, where he graduated with the Scholar of the College and magna cum laude designations. Mr. O'Hara is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 certified.

Ms. Parris has over 20 years of wide-ranging hands on experience in the logistics and letter of credit industry making her a recognized leader in her field. With her reputation of proven results Amy offers solutions and resources to many government, transportation and manufacturing companies worldwide. She is known to be a dynamic speaker with proven results in educating the community. Maria Toro is Sales & Marketing Director for Leapfrog Document Services, Inc. Ms. Toro has 15+ years experience in the Import/Export Business. With a degree from UNCC in Business & Spanish and a minor in International Studies, Maria graduated on the Chancellor's list. She also studied abroad in Santander, Spain, is a Certified Spanish Translator, studied French and understands Italian & Portuguese. Tom Valentine
Tom Valentine

Tom Valentine is Mainfreight's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Tom manages the Mainfreight USA selling process across all international, domestic and supply chain products. He also focuses on building and delivering the Mainfreight USA brand and messages. Currently, Tom is overseeing the re-development of the Mainfreight USA website, and the creation of the company's online business development channel. He is also working on implementing pipeline management as the new Mainfreight USA sales DNA.

Tom has been in the logistics industry since he began his career, and became part of the Mainfreight family in 2005. Tom has received several awards and appointments throughout his career, including; the Governors Award of Excellence for International Trade support services, the President of World Trade Council (Albany, NY), Vice Chair of the New York District Export Council, and Board of Directors of The Center for Economic Growth. Tom is also a youth mentor through the Saratoga Sponsor a Scholar program.
