Airport Shuttle
Monterey/Salinas AirBus Shuttle Service requires advance reservations to stop at the Hyatt. One-way fare from the San Francisco International Airport is $50 per person. From the San Jose Airport is $40 per person. Call 831-373-7777.
Driving
Monterey is 116 miles south of San Francisco, 71 miles from San José, and 283 miles from Los Angeles. If you have the time, of course, the famous California Highway One will get you to Monterey from the south, passing Hearst Castle at San Simeon and then Big Sur along the way.
