Our Third San Antonio Riemer Week

Our first Riemer Week in San Antonio Texas was in 1986. That proved so enjoyable that last year marked the third Riemer Week in San Antonio! The reasons why are clear. The Texan hospitality and luxurious Hyatt Hill Country provided the perfect backdrop to an enjoyable and productive week of educational and networking events for all our Riemer members. Check out some of the great shots we took at the hotel to see how nice it truly was.
Who Was There
We had in attendance twenty credit associations, representatives from thirteen companies that offered products and services to credit professionals, and the Riemer Reporting Service staff members. In all, there were almost 300 people. Most of the credit associations had group photos taken, check them out to get a look at your fellow colleagues.
What We Learned
We had some great speakers at our 22nd annual Riemer Week, which included our 20th annual International Trade Forum. Each year, members ask for copies of the PowerPoint presentations used during the sessions, and a number of speakers oblige.
- Mike Brown: Taking the NO out of InNOvation
- Darin Narayana: World Markets in Review
- Bruce Nathan: Bankruptcy Act of 2005
- Robert Shultz: Automation and Process Improvement
- Creim & Macias: Credit Applications & Procedures

- Davy Tyburski: Leadership and Team Building
- Davy Tyburski: Strengthen Your CREDIT and SALES Relationship!
Networking Events
All work and no play make for a dull day, and so as not to be dull, Riemer had plenty of social events for members to participate in and establish those oh-so valuable ties and contacts in the credit community. Take a look at some candid shots of Credit Managers doing their best to establish those ties!
