Riemer Group Services

Personal Attention

The Association Coordinator of each group is the Riemer liaison person who provides advance and on-site meeting planning services and coordinates the compilation of the credit reports reviewed at meetings. Riemer groups are self-directed, and the Association Coordinator works with the officers and members to develop a menu of services tailored to each group's unique needs. This is also the person that keeps the membership's contact information up-to-date. With one contact to know for your group, it's easy to work with Riemer Reporting Service.

Meetings and Education

Whether at Riemer Week or at regular credit group meetings, networking with credit people is seen as an enormous advantage by Riemer members. Riemer Reporting Service coordinates over 300 meetings nationwide, per year. Members of associations don’t need to worry about a thing, but showing up. We have relationships with some of the largest hotel chains in the country, allowing us to secure room blocks at very low rates.

These meetings allow an opportunity for face-to-face interaction with your collegues regarding the experience reported in the PER. Paper reports are great, but nothing can replace the live discussion of the accounts. And don't worry about any legal issues! The Association Coordinator attends every meeting and makes sure that members adhere to the Rules Governing Credit Groups, avoiding any anti-trust issues.

Account discussion is not the only benefit of regular meetings. Educational sessions, workshops, and speakers covering a wide variety of credit-related topics can be scheduled at the request of the members. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for most educational sessions.

Couldn’t attend? After each meeting, the coordinator writes a detailed summary of the business and educational sessions for members to share with their associates. These Minutes are distributed to all members, regardless of attendance.

Riemer Week

Every Fall since 1984, Riemer Reporting Service has invited its entire network to a week-long series of seminars, workshops, exhibits, demonstrations, and credit group meetings. Called Riemer Week, the 40+ hours of educational programs, plus valuable networking and meetings, attract hundreds of credit professionals each year.

The Credit Cycle

The exchange of written or electronic information is the long-standing basis of the credit group. Riemer Reporting Service makes it easy to participate with easy-to-use forms, online data entry, and the EPERS. We’ll guide you every step of the way with timely mailings and e-mail reminders.

Comprehensive Reports

The Riemer Report page, designed by Paul Riemer, quickly became the industry standard and remains so to this day. The hardcopy version is a two-sided document with charts and graphs showing trends on one side, and individual lines of payment experience on the other. The member number of each company reporting on an account is clearly identified. A separate roster allows members to identify and contact each other at any time for updated information.

At the conclusion of each credit cycle, Payment Experience Reports (PER) are distributed to members in bound books and on CD-ROM and are made available on RiemerNet.

Between cycles, members can order individual reports called Instant Riemer Reports. Whether ordered online or by fax or phone, Instant Riemer Reports provide a full, two-pages which often have even more data than the Payment Experience Report.

These exclusive reports are only available to members of Riemer credit associations.

Association Home Pages

Each Riemer Credit Association has its own home page, allowing members to:

Please note: Home page access to full group information is limited to group members. Officially-registered prospective members of Riemer groups (those who receive limited credit cycle mailings) can access some information about these associations. Please contact your Association Coordinator if you have any questions.

Flash Reports

The Flash Report System allows faster communication of data, in a way that spotlights it as information which is important to credit managers dealing with that account. Time-critical information is sent between credit cycles to alert members of changing situations. Information is automatically included in a special, highlighted section of future regular reports and available online at RiemerNet. Previous Flash Report data is always included, so there is no need to retrieve previous data to obtain a general perspective.

Special Reports

Many of Riemer’s Credit Associations also conduct benchmarking surveys (Days Sales Outstanding, percentages past due, etc.). Reporting forms are distributed and collected by Riemer Reporting Service. We tabulate the results and deliver valuable, informative reports. These reports can be tailored to your Association's specific needs.
