Instant Riemer Reports
Instant Riemer Reports are full payment experience reports on the accounts you request generated when you request them. These reports include data added to the Riemer database up to nanoseconds before you ordered it. The reports may also contain more information than the report included in your Payment Experience Report. PERs contain experience from the last three months, whereas an Instant Riemer Report can contain experience from as far back as a year.
There are three ways to get an Instant Riemer Report:
Order by Phone
Call (440) 835-2477 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. ET. Your report should be faxed to you within one hour, usually much sooner. Cost: $6 per report ONLY if there is experience within the last 12 months.
Order by Fax
Use the Fax-to-Fax Order Form if you would like to order more than one report. Fax the form to (440) 835-4594 within the business hours above. Reports are faxed back to you within three business hours. Be sure to fill out the top part and photocopy a stack for future use before writing in your first order. Cost: $5 per report ONLY if there is experience within the last 12 months.
Order Online
You can get an Instant Riemer Report instantly through our web site. Type in your search criteria on the “Account Search” page. If you report your experience electronically to Riemer, just key in your company’s customer reference number. You can also use the account’s Riemer Number if you have it nearby.
Note: The Riemer Number is NOT your member number!
If you don’t report experience electronically and you don’t have the Riemer Number handy, type in the account name plus the city and state. If there are multiple locations, you will save time by including the street address. Once your criteria has been entered, click the Submit button.
The Account Search Results screen will list those accounts that match the criteria you entered. Click on an account name to view a report summary, or click on New Search if the account you want is not listed.
Before you order the report, you will be provided with information that will help you decide whether or not to purchase the report. You can see how much experience has been reported on the account, how many members are reporting (from all groups), and how old the information is. Even if your credit group has not reported on this account in years, there can be a lot of information provided by Riemer members who submit their experience electronically on a monthly basis. Information on hundreds of thousands of accounts comes in every month and it is available to you within 72 hours of its arrival at Riemer. There may also be new experience since the last time the account was cleared by your group, even if that was only a week ago.
Your report is available in two different formats: HTML and PDF. Both formats include the same information. Keep in mind that once you order a report on an account, you have seven days to order updated reports on the same account as many times as you’d like. That means that, for no extra charge, you can get the report in both formats.
HTML Report
The HTML report interactively links you to more information in several ways. A link at the top of the page will show the full account information, including address, phone, principal, and any account flags. Another link at the top of the page will allow you to conduct an entirely new search. Links across the top of the page will take you to the different sections of information. In the Payment Experience, each member number is linked to full contact information.
This format was designed for your computer screen and does not require any additional software. If you would like to print out or save the report, you may want to consider the PDF format.
PDF Report
This format is designed for printing and looks just like the hard copy you might receive in your PER or via fax and should be very familiar. You’ll need to have Adobe’s Acrobat Reader installed, but it is freely available from their web site. When you print the report, you’ll want to use the print button on the Reader toolbar, NOT your browser’s print button or menu option.
